Originally formed in 1994 between Tarey P. and Smallfry, Lunegore began as a background music experiment for the opening and closing credits of the film “The Extra Terrestrial Tabloid Alien Monster” These recordings were made with a two-track reel to reel recorder, a Yamaha keyboard and a microphone. They moved on to do a spoken word album, utilizing a guitar, bass guitar, and voice processor. The project was very gritty and raw, but held its integrity with Smallfry’s powerful words. Tarey continued experimenting with many solo recordings which set the pattern for the future of Lunegore. Guest artists working with lunegore include B’eirth of In Gowan Ring, Erick Albretsen and Francois Camoin. What resulted is an extensive library of sounds, edits and patterns that Tarey utilizes in a “Cut-Up” Method. The first full-length album was titled “Chaotic Meditation”. The name describes itself. This album was never released publicly, but is planned for a re-release in 2008. The Second Album 'His Name is FRANK' Released 2006 is a blend of remixes of tracks from "Chaotic Meditation' and a barrage of digital soundscapes utilizing Looping Software Lunegore cannot be defined or lumped into any type of genre or style. Each track offers an entirely new perspective of creation. To those with an open and creative mind, you will most definitely find the patterns working into a completely ambient mindset of serenity that can only exist in chaos. |
